Getting Started

To get started with your WildKnowledge software, connect your handheld device to the internet, use your device’s browser to go to www.wildknowledge.mobi and log in with the account details provided in the email that was sent to you.

Click on the application/s to which you have subscribed and select ‘download’. You will then be able to download the application/s to your device by clicking ‘download Wild (Map / Form / Key / Image) Handheld 1.0’. The application will automatically install itself to your device.

You also have to download and install the ‘WildWeb Handheld 1.0’ application to your device – but you only need to download WildWeb once as the application works across all four WildKnowledge programs. WildWeb is the program you will use to download maps, forms, keys and images from the website and also the program you will use to upload data collected on your handheld.

If you have purchased WildKey, open WildWeb on your device and press ‘Get’. Enter your log in and password details and click ‘OK’. If you are connected to the internet and have entered the details correctly, the keys you have purchased will appear in the window for you to download to the main memory or storage card (we suggest the storage card option would be best if available).

If you have purchased WildForm, WildMap or WildImage, you will have to use the desktop creation tools to create your forms, maps or images before you can download them to your handheld.
