WildKnowledge’s applications provide teachers and lecturers with the ability to provide ‘on location’ understanding and collate data that relates to any subject including Science, Geography, History, Drama and Maths.

By providing students with mobile intelligence about a location, object or activity, information can be delivered at the point of inspiration.  For example, imagine the following questions and how they would be traditionally answered in the classroom.

• “Why is this monument here?”;
• “How many pupils walk to my school?”;
• “How does the human eye work?”.

With WildKnowledge a pupil can:

• Access a wildlife key & identify/record sightings (WildKey);
• Open trails providing multimedia interest points (WildMap);
• Create their own surveys and collate their own data (WildForm);
• Access interactive images about an object (WildImage).

Because the information is mobile, education goes beyond the classroom and the school timetable, enabling pupils to gather and create information anytime, anywhere.  What’s more you don’t have to create all the content yourself as it can be shared in the WildKnowledge community!
